Immunizations FAQ
All of the required and recommended vaccinations are offered here at the UCF Health Center located on East (Main) Campus. Prices are comparable to local health clinics. To schedule an appointment and inquire about charges, please call 407.823.2701 and select Option 1.
As a student enrolled in an Online-Only program, you DO NOT have to provide proof of immunizations, but you still have to submit the UCF Mandatory Immunizations form with your demographic information and signed waivers under Section A. Make sure your UCF account reflects you are an Online-Only student (contact your college or advisor, if incorrect).
If you are a student enrolled in a regular in-person program but taking classes online, you will still have to submit proof of your immunizations.
Transcripts are sent directly to the Admissions Office and become the property of that office. They do not verify immunizations. You will need to obtain a separate copy from your former school and submit it online to Med+Proctor for verification.
If you have immunization records with all of the required vaccines listed, you DO NOT need to bring the UCF form to your doctor. Just fill out the demographic information on the top right and sign the waivers under section A, if necessary. Make sure you upload BOTH the UCF form and immunization records.
There are two options for meeting the requirement.
Your first option is to have vaccines readministered. MMR is a 2-dose vaccine given at least 30 days apart.
Your second option is to get a blood titer test for measles and rubella to check if you have immunity to the disease. Only positive results are accepted as proof of immunity. In case of an equivocal and/or negative result, you will have to get re-vaccinated. For appointment and charges at UCF Student Health Services, please, call 407.823.2701 and select Option 1.
Submit your records at least one (1) week before your Orientation. It takes 2–3 business days for your submission to be verified and have the immunization hold lifted. You want to be sure it is all completed so you can register for classes during your Orientation.
You can ask your parents/guardians to see if they have any official vaccine documentation for you. Your physician or state health department may have your immunizations on file. You can also try any public school or college/university (except community college) that you have attended.
You will submit them online through our website using a third-party verification vendor Med+Proctor. You will use your UCF login information (UCF ID and password).
Please note, it takes 2–3 business days for them to review your submission. You will receive an email from Med+Proctor stating if you are compliant or not (you will need to log back into Med+Proctor to find out what exactly is missing).
You can also check your myUCF account to see if the hold is still there after 3 days. For any questions, you can either chat with Med+Proctor (green button on our website) or contact the Immunizations Compliance office by calling 407-823-2701 Option 4, or emailing us at immunizations@ucf.edu.
The HIM department staff is responsible for immunization records. The immunization section of HIM may be reached by email at immunizations@ucf.edu.
