Appointments are highly recommended in order to provide students with the shortest amount of wait time. You may make an appointment by calling 407-823-3850, or by stopping by the Health Center and scheduling with our appointments clerk. Walk-in students will be assessed by a Nurse Facilitator to determine their need to be seen. These patients may be seen the same day on an availability basis, or scheduled for a return visit.
If this is your first time at our clinic, please complete the Health History form located online in the Patient Portal prior to your appointment.
For patients with Medical Insurance, please be sure to file your insurance with us prior to your appointment. In order to bill your insurance, it must be on file before you are seen by a medical provider. Please register or update your insurance with us by completing the Medical Insurance Registration Form so we can verify your insurance is active and add the information to your Electronic Health Record. Patients can also complete this process in person by bringing a copy of their insurance card and photo ID to the Insurance window located on the first floor of the Health Center. Please see the Billing page for more information.
Nursing and Med Students
Nursing and College of Medicine students may not make appointments with providers who also serve as their faculty at their respective college. In order to avoid this conflict, please inform appointments if you are a Nursing or Medical student so that we can make sure to schedule you with the most appropriate provider.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the appointment line 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Because of the high demand for services, canceling in advance will enable us to fill the appointment time with another person who needs medical care. There is a fee for appointments missed without 24 advance notice. Fees may vary from $10 to $30 based on the type of appointment. Emails are not accepted for appointment cancelation or rescheduling.
Parking at the Main Health Center
The closest parking garages to the Health Center are the Libra Garage and Garage B. These have the most ample parking (permit or daily pass required). The Health Center also has a number of dedicated parking spots for patients in ground lot C3, but parking in these spots requires a special parking permission slip to be displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard (request one at the time of check-in if you parked here). Please note that in addition to the parking permission slip, the vehicle must also display a UCF parking permit or daily parking pass (available for purchase at parking lot kiosk). The parking permission slips are not given retroactively.
