Hi everyone! My name is Salika Vummarao and I’m a Junior at UCF majoring in Biomedical Sciences and minoring in Women and Gender Studies. I joined SHAC in Fall 2022 in order to play a larger role in reaching out to UCF students regarding health resources that are available on campus. I am currently the chair of the Sexual Health Subcommittee at SHAC. I’m especially passionate about menstrual equity and sexual health and hope to educate students about the importance of awareness and finding accessible resources to fit their needs. In addition to SHAC, I’m involved with PERIOD., Honors Congress, and Knights Helping Knights Pantry on campus!
