Nicole Van

Hi Knights! My name is Nicole Van and I am a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Sciences on the pre-medical track with a minor in Art History. The study of art and medicine has a unique combination to help reduce suffering and heal one’s well-being during hardship. After graduation, I plan to attend medical school and hope to become a board-certified dermatologist.

My decision to join SHAC is not just to join the committee but to work together with my team to help connect our student body with Student Health Services accessible resources and provide services to students on their mental health during their academic years.

In addition to SHAC, I am an Arts in Medicine Intern at Orlando Health, a former dental assistant, and a member of pre-med AMSA here at UCF! In my spare time, I enjoy the benefit of reading, studying Art History painting and its history background, yoga, and quality time with my family.
