Neph is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago with a concentration in Group Work. Before coming to UCF, Neph worked for a rehab facility as a primary therapist where she provided individual and group counseling to clients with substance abuse and mental health issues. Neph uses a strengths-based approach, often using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy.
