Jon earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Florida, beginning his career as an RN. Continuing his education, he earned a Master of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Florida and is Board Certified in Family Practice. He further continued his education and earned a PhD in Nursing from the University of Central Florida.
He has practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for over 22 years, with experience in college health, gastroenterology, internal medicine, primary care, and urgent care throughout Florida and in Southeast Alaska. Jon is also an Associate Lecturer at the University of Central Florida College of Nursing, where he has taught for over 13 years.
