Jorge is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Saint Xavier University Chicago and a Master of Arts in Counseling Education with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. Jorge specializes in treating substance use and process addiction issues.
Prior to his experience at UCF, Jorge treated substance use issues in both outpatient and residential settings through a non-profit agency. Jorge’s theoretical orientation focuses on the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy.
